In a Devo documentary I watched a couple of years ago, they claimed that the whole thing with booji boy started because they lived at Kent State and had no money for booze or drugs. Instead, they came across a bunch of cheap masks that they were entertaining themselves with. I don't think a bunch of guys who eschew social for wearing masks and developing rhythmyically impossible New Wave get a lot of ass.
This is what the internet does best! I'm going to say no, Devo did not get much ass. Did they play those keyboards that you wear like a guitar? If so, definitely not.
Let's take a minute to remember the era in which Devo were hot. To a certain asymmetric hairstyle wearing, shoulder dancing female demographic I bet key-tars were sexxxy. I say they got as much as they wanted, though maybe they seem like the type who might not want much...
I wonder if Mark Mothersbaugh is getting any Mommy ass. He is on a very popular kids show now. Plus he scores many Wes Anderson movies. A little indy cred never hurt at all.
