Listening to "Exit" by Pat Martino right now, 1976, one of my favorite guitar-centered jazz albums of all time.I just read that Pinback is playing at Irving Plaza tomorrow night and I went to buy four tickets, Live Nation wants $9 for a ticket fee. Can you believe that shit??

Looks cool, but the downlaod is WMA files that my itunes won't play. Anybody have any tips?
try mpeg streamclip. it's free, and can convert almost anything. for wma to m4a directions are as follows:
1) open mpeg streamclip
2) go to the file menu and choose open file
3) on the bottom of the window you'll see a little tab that says video files. change it to all files
4) select your .wma
5) click open
6) go back to the file menu
7) choose export audio
8) adjust to your liking. i'd go with mp4 aac.
as far as the bit rate adjustment is concerned, the wma file probably isn't 256 kbps, so you might want to lower it to save some space.
there's probably a free app out there that does this quicker, but i use mpeg streamclip all the time. it's like the swiss army knife of conversion tools.
also, i recommend a program called XLD for quickly converting lossless flac/ogg/ape files that you sometimes get.
