I've been listening to a a lot of Black Sabbath, got my 4 and 6 year olds on the wagon. It's cute as hell when my 4 year old is singing the riff to N.I.B.
If you do Netflix check out the VHI "Greatest Albums" documentaries (i think that's what they are called). The Sabbath "Paranoid" one is sweet. I have Def Leppard "Hysteria" documentary queued up.
I'm also on a Boards of Canada jag. I love that band so much I want to eat them.
Somebody hit me with some new new new shit, please.

Okay... well... the newest thing I've been listening to is the new Sigur Ros and, well, it's boring.
I've been digging Polica a bit. The record on Spotify is from 2011. They're a mpls. band. I don't know, gothy? In a light sort of way? Kind of tough to describe.
On the "what is old is new again" front, I've been rocking a lot of Scrawl's records. What a great band they were.
I was feeling "Scrawl" today, thanks for the tip.
I've been listening to a fair amount of Sabbath recently myself, and Ive come to the conclusion that "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" was probably their best album and "National Acrobat" is probably the best song on that album. Ozzy's cackling laugh in the middle of that song gives me the chills every time.
