An Oral History of Grunge

I just started reading this... it's actually pretty entertaining so far.

I'd let you borrow it when I'm done but it would be unfair to the author, taking food out of his family's mouth, etc...

I'm waiting for the part where it gets to the formation of the greatest grunge band of all time, ZAO.

Thanks for the tip DC. I'll be sure and look for that in my local used book store(a long standing American institution that has never given a crap about the creator of the Intellectual property).

Zao was the #1 grunge band of all times at Palm Desert High School in 1991... same school that begat Kyuss, FYI.

This book has me in a sentimental mood... i'll save that for its own post.

I played air bass for Zao.

Zao played my birthday party at Greg Korman's house in 1992. Still one of my most vivd memories and one of the best shows I ever saw.

Believe it or not, ator and dc were two of the main reasons I took up an instrument. Zao should have a documentary made about them. They were as big as Kyuss and better. Way better, in my humble opinion.
