Beatles

My wife is requesting I get some Beatles for her and my kids. I don't own any digitally and have sold all my LPs (they move fast at stoop sales). Gabe, do you have like every Beatles remastered? Any of you guys got my back on Beatles tip?

Yawn, wrong guy by a mile. I've never given a crap about the Beatles, can't explain it. My kids listen to Elmore James and The Velvet Underground...

Revolver...their least self-conscious album (after the drugs kicked in anyway). sonic perfection. John's minor classic "I'm Only Sleeping" would be catnap for the kids.

I have five Beatles albums I can hook you up with. I've never gone through a hardcore beatles phase, and I don't like their early stuff, but the white album, abbey road, revolver, that's killer shit.

My man Carlos asked me to play here comes this sun for his wedding in Spain this summer for when his wife is walking down the aisle, also wants me to learn in my life, I'm learning to play them, they wrote a lot of great songs.

I can hook it up.I've got all 12 LPs digitally as well as Past Masters (the singles). I'll give the Beatles credit. They helped change the music listening experience as they were early proponents of releasing full albums of material. At the time, many labels would only put out singles. They get further credit for releasing 12 LPs in the span of about 8 years. When they weren't promoting an LP they would have a 12" or 7" single out. Most of these singles were Non-LP tracks. Paperback Writer, Lady Madonna, Inner Light, Hey Jude and Get Back are just a few Non-LP tracks that were HUGE.
