Beastie Boys "live at Pompei"

Just came across this one recently......... a pretty cool little tribute. I tracked down the soundtrack to Floyd at Pompei and man, they were a smoking live band back in the day, i always think of them as an "album band," but they had some serious live chops there for a while -->

i have never seen either of these. nice!

i love that the b-boys paid respect by the stenciled "Pink floyd london" on the stacks.

also, do believe that was Nathanial Hörnblowér on the crane shot.

David Gilmore... shredmaster.

That was rad, thanks.

yeah man, i think Gilmore is a bit underrated as a guitarist

ill never forget attending this jazz guitar summer camp deal when i was a kid.... and all of the advanced kids used to sit around trying to master the Gilmore-style bend
